Houston drinking institution Kirby Ice House opened its third outpost in the Woodlands on September 27, and this regional watering hole is seemingly looking to break some records. The Kirby Ice House location near Upper Kirby claims to be the biggest bar in Texas. And while we haven’t sent our surveyor out for accurate measurements, we can confirm this place is massive, especially its astroturfed outdoor space. Unlike a traditional ice house, this bar offers liquor, but there’s still plenty of draft beer, plus TVs and rotating food trucks to keep the people happy on game day.

The ice house prides itself on its backyard patio, which offers 18,000 square feet of space for you and Fido to roam. There will be shows each evening, along with additional performances during the day on sea days. Live music is also included in your cruise fare, which comes in many genres and is offered throughout the day at multiple locations onboard. The free food is so good and the speciality dining is more expensive on Royal Caribbean ships than with some other cruise lines.
You are also to purchase add-ons for your day at these private destinations for an extra fee. Options include the water park and private beach club at CocoCay, cabanas, shore excursions, and more.
